KHS Prom 2018

April 28 was Kuna High School’s Prom, it took place from 7:45 pm until 11:00 at the Knitting Factory in Boise. As everyone knows, Prom is designed for juniors and seniors and is often seen as a right of passage to graduation, but a few freshman and sophmores dare to venture to the dance. Prom is a magical night, no matter what year you are.

This year’s Prom was amazing per usual. Lavish decorations and people dressed sharp in dresses and suits, making the students practically unrecognizable cause of the change from the common sweatpants and tee shirt you commonly see roaming the halls. The music blared throughout the floors and bodies danced around; you could hear the joy and laughter radiating throughout the building. Couples slow danced, friends partied and danced the night away. Crowds thickened on the main floor, photo booths were set up in the back room on the third floor, and dance offs formed in the corners. The atmosphere in the building allowed several people to come out of their “shells,” let loose and have fun on the dance floor.
